I became a realtor because I love houses and I love neighborhoods. But what I love most is playing matchmaker to find people the perfect house for them, in the perfect neighborhood for them. It may sound trite, but it’s true. It shines through in the way I approach my work and is one of the main reasons that my business is completely referral based.
Before becoming a real estate broker, I honed my organizational skills as a project manager in the energy business in San Francisco. When I returned home to my native Portland, I began my love affair with the city’s diverse neighborhoods and the houses within them. After my husband and I had bought and renovated several homes, bringing some back from the brink of despair, I decided working with real estate should be a full time job. Since then I’ve never looked back, establishing myself as an agent who will go to any length to serve my clients, and becoming an expert on the city’s varied neighborhoods. I have also earned my Earth Advantage Energy Star broker designation.
I was born and raised in SE Portland and now live in the Sellwood/Westmoreland neighborhood with my husband Ken, stepdaughter Emma, two Border Collies and a Lynx Point Siamese. When I’m not working, my favorite activities include traveling, whitewater rafting, renovating old homes, restoring the family’s farmhouse in the country, and trying as many new restaurants as is physically possible.
