A brief introduction… I am a licensed Real Estate Broker with Think Real Estate in both Oregon and Washington serving both Portland and the Columbia River Gorge area. Since we are a small independent office, we do not have out-of-state corporate headquarters to determine our goals or standards. Our independence allows me to focus on what’s best for my clients and to give you the personal attention that you deserve.
My own interests and background have qualified me to assist in all of my clients’ real estate needs. I am a proud homeowner and landlady; therefore I understand both hats. Having a passion for the mid century era led me to restoring vintage travel trailers– canned hams, bread loaves, and the like. Since these travel trailers are like small scale homes (on wheels!), I learned about mechanics, systems, and finishes. This led me to working on houses, which can prove to be much more satisfying. I have had my hand in renovation projects of 4 properties between California and Oregon– from light restoration to full tear out. Although I prefer to restore what is original (greener and often times more sturdy in quality), I understand the need to replace and therefore rejuvenate where required. When I look at properties, I have personal experience on what may be required to repair and renovate a home. I am an avid thrift store shopper and enthusiastic estate sale’r. I love a good treasure hunt and when you are looking for that perfect home, you better believe it is a hunt. As well as my Oregon state real estate license, I have a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from University of California, San Diego with an emphasis in photography. I also hold a minor in Biology; Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution. My past work history includes 10 years in design as a Wardrobe Stylist in the film industry. Both my design and photography eye serve me remarkably when it comes to marketing a property for sale as well as having vision for renovation work and understanding period style in architecture.
My emphasis is to work with my clients to achieve their goals and ambitions. I am not a salesperson; I am a project manager. If you are someone who thinks outside the box and needs a Realtor who understands that, you’ve found her! My eye can be your guide. My thoroughness can be your tool. My knowledge can be your friend. My love of Portland’s vast and expanding outlets for expression, art, culture, and adventure can be our common ground. Buying or selling your home or investment is an important step in life. I will do everything necessary to make this daunting process as easy and smooth as possible.
