Our Story
Think Real Estate was founded in 2013 to bring together a collection of high-integrity, community-minded real estate experts to provide exceptional service to Portland area homebuyers and sellers. In the past ten years, we have routinely been recognized as the Best Real Estate Company by Willamette Week (thanks WW – we see you!) and the top agency for sales per agent in the State of Oregon, showing that we continue to earn the trust of more community members than anyone else.
Internally we believe in a sharing economy and constant collaboration. We share ideas, and resources and show up for one another. We’re smart. We love learning, listening, growing, and staying on top of current policies, regulations, and trends because our clients’ demand and deserve the best. When you work with a Think agent you benefit from the full support of our entire organization, which includes marketing, agent services, and accounting.
Externally we show up for the community through high-quality services, integrity, and philanthropy. We believe in giving our all for our clients and giving back to our local neighborhoods to make them better places for our families and clients. We are deeply committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion and keep our actions in alignment with the principles we set for ourselves in our equity statement.
Giving Back
We are proud to support non-profit organizations committed to making Portland a great place for everyone. Through monetary giving, and our time as individuals and as a company we show up where needed.
Equity
At Think Real Estate, we understand that the history of racial discrimination in housing through public policy and private industry has harmed communities of color and withheld the benefits of homeownership, housing stability, and the creation of generational wealth.
We believe that we can contribute to dismantling systemic racism and its harm to communities of color and are devoted to that effort. We understand this will require a broad-based, collaborative, and inclusive process. We expect discomfort and we are committed to growth. We acknowledge that this will be a process that will require reflection, training, and education.
We are resolved to engage this work with transparency and demonstrate our commitment to equitable housing policy for all marginalized communities.
